Planning their wedding from the USA, Sophia and David were searching for a venue that would give their guests a quintessentially British experience. The moment they arrived at Hedsor House, they knew their search was over.

Sophia and David let the elegance of Hedsor guide the aesthetic. Jazz music, a countryside gin bar, and florals tucked in every corner created a timeless and elegant atmosphere set amongst the English garden.

They made the most of the estate with a welcome dinner on the South Terrace, overlooking the grounds and surrounding countryside, and echoed this setup for the cocktail hour on the wedding day itself.

They were aware of potential challenges arising from doing the planning from overseas, but thanks to the expert Hedsor team, and their wedding planner, Katrina Otter Weddings, every detail was executed flawlessly and they could fully relax and enjoy the planning journey, and the day itself.

With a fully international guest list, they were determined to offer a one-of-a-kind day. Sophia said: “When people traveled so very far to share in this special day we were hoping that they would have a wonderful experience – and they had so much more than we had even hoped for. It surpassed all of our expectations!”
