Chloe and Richard’s love story began at a Halloween party where they both turned up dressed as tigers! Little did they know that this chance encounter would be the start of something magical.

After living in Australia for seven years, they decided to return to England to tie the knot in their hometown. The couple wanted a quintessentially British venue for their special day, which led them to Hedsor House.

To capture the essence of their English garden theme, they ensured everything was locally sourced, from the flowers and food to the cake and drinks. They chose a pastel theme to emulate a British summer garden, with their florist selecting only local, seasonal flowers. The wedding cake, adorned with florals mirroring the theme, really tied their vision together.

Planning their wedding from overseas presented its challenges, but with the support of the Hedsor team and their family on the ground, they were able to make their dreams a reality. The first order of business: the musical elements, which created a lovely atmosphere for their big day. They had a string quartet during the ceremony, followed by a band and saxophonist to keep our guests dancing all evening long.

Their beautiful summer wedding reflected their British roots, with Hedsor providing a truly quintessential experience, from the charm of the Georgian house to the rolling views of the Great British countryside.
