Dogs have always been an essential part of family life for the Shephards who own Hedsor House & are very much at home on our country estate.

With this in mind, we have opened up Hedsor so that we are dog friendly. Your furry friend can join you for your wedding ceremony and drinks reception.

If you would like to bring your best four-legged friend along to your wedding there are two options to choose from:

  1. The Pawfect Day Package

    Complimentary

Perfect for when you already have a member of the family or friend who is prepared to take responsibility for your dog for the afternoon.

Your designated friend will need to keep your dog on a lead, provide food, water and walks as needed, along with ensuring any dog accidents are swiftly dealt with!

  2. The Unlimited Love Package

    Starting From £450

The ‘Unlimited Love’ offers a highly individual, all-inclusive canine wedding chaperone service.

We have partnered with a trusted local dog handler to deliver this for us. She is fully qualified in animal behaviour, training and welfare, is a member of the Pet Industry Federation, trained in canine first aid, holds an advanced CRB/DBS clearance, and is fully insured.

The package with Hedsor includes everything your furry friend might need to enjoy your wedding, with a gorgeous bespoke accessory for you to keep. Chaperoning, supervision and safe transportation are all a guarantee.

Costs for this service start from £450. Additional dogs can be added for £50 and house/overnight pet sitting at £50 per dog per night. A dog grooming service can be added as an upgrade should it be required.

To book – please contact your Wedding Specialist.

Please note fees for this service are paid directly to the provider and that the package is subject to availability.

Our Charity Partner

Hedsor House makes a donation to the charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People for every dog friendly wedding we host.

Our donations go to support Sandie, a very special little puppy who is currently training to be a canine companion for a person who has lost their hearing. You can follow Sandie’s progress here and on our social channels as she develops all the skills she’ll need to graduate.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
A dog is a huge part of the family so it’s only natural for people to want to include them on their big day. We love how Hedsor House recognise this and go above and beyond to welcome dogs to their gorgeous venue, and to make them feel happy and comfortable. We are delighted to be partnering with Hedsor House. Their support will help us to train more amazing hearing dogs that will change the lives of deaf people. Top Tips For dog friendly weddings

We love being able to offer dog friendly weddings at Hedsor.

To keep them safe and happy, we’ve partnered with Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to bring you some top tips for their inclusion.

Some dogs can become anxious in new environments, so make sure your dog will be happy with the dog handler and a toy or blanket might help them settle and provide some home comfort. Access to water and opportunities for bathroom breaks are essential and some peace and quiet away from the bustle of the wedding will make your dog’s day calm and enjoyable.
