The Hedsor Hundred

One hundred remarkable people, one unforgettable day

The inaugural Hedsor Hundred brought together one hundred invited guests from business, technology, the arts, media and philanthropy for a day of ideas and inspiration at Hedsor House.

Hosted by Rosie and Hamish Shephard in partnership with TED, the event was designed around a simple belief: wonderful things happen when wonderful people are gathered. From founders and authors to innovators, creatives and global leaders, guests spent the day sharing perspectives, forging new relationships and exploring some of the most important questions shaping the future.

The Event

The day began with thought-provoking talks and workshops led by TED and guests, exploring leadership, innovation, behavioural change and the responsibility of shaping a better future.

Guests included Dame Jo Malone CBE, Slack co-founder Cal Henderson, former Amazon UK CEO Christopher North, KOKO founder Olly Bengough, Telegraph Media Group CEO Anna Jones, Ronan Keating, Tinie Tempah, OpenAI’s Wulfie Bain, Simon & Schuster CEO Greg Greeley and Earthshot Prize winner Pierre Paslier, alongside a handpicked community of founders, investors, creatives and changemakers.

Following lunch in the Centre Hall, guests ventured into the estate for a Highland cattle feeding experience and a unique cello concert underneath Hedsor’s breathtaking Faraway Tree. An afternoon of Hay Bale Conversations followed; these intimate discussions covered topics ranging from artificial intelligence and education to sustainability, creativity and equality.

As day turned to evening, the estate came alive with a selection of quintessentially British activations, including clay shooting, wine tasting at the Summerhouse and breathwork and meditation at the Viewpoint. Cocktails in the Willingdon Bar were followed by dinner in the Ballroom, where connection continued late into the evening.

More than an event, The Hedsor Hundred was a gathering of inspiring people brought together to exchange ideas, build meaningful connections and create the foundations of a tribe that will grow for years to come.
