Hedsor House Donates £4750 to the NSPCC

Hedsor House Presents Cheque to the NSPCC

Hedsor House, the privately owned stately home in Buckinghamshire, presented a donation of £4,750 to the NSPCC this week. Having been selected as the venue’s charity of the year by house owners the Shephard family, contributions were made at various fundraiser events and by couples marrying at Hedsor throughout the last twelve months.

A legacy of supporting good causes...

"Supporting children and their families in our local community continues to be a cause very dear to our hearts. We are thrilled that, alongside our generous Hedsor House couples, we have managed to raise £4,750 for the NSPCC. Our charitable efforts at Hedsor are ongoing, and as such Janey Shephard will continue to sit on the local committee and support NSPCC fundraising initiatives well into the future. Establishing and maintaining a legacy of supporting good causes in the community will always be a duty that we relish”

We are so grateful to the lovely people at Hedsor House for supporting our work locally for a whole year. When people and businesses fundraise for the NSPCC, it makes a huge difference to our ability to help children who need us in a time of crisis. For example, it costs £4 for a Childline volunteer to answer a call from a child, and only three out of four calls can be answered, so every penny is vital in helping the NSPCC reach more children.
