+ Access to the house

All deliveries and collections must be made on the day of your event unless you have prior permission from a member of the Hedsor House team. All of our preferred caterers and suppliers are fully aware of their access times.

Hedsor House is a stunning venue of great historic importance and has been updated to allow disabled access and facilities in specific areas. There is an accessible cloakroom on the ground floor and a wheelchair lift into the house from our Dutch Sunken Garden. If you or any of your guests require use of the lift, please let us know in advance so that we can ensure it has been recently used and serviced. Please note, all our guest bedrooms are on the first and second floor and there are no internal lifts within the house.

Coaches, double decker buses and large lorries can get up the drive.

+ Inside the house

Our variety of rooms and gardens are what makes Hedsor such a flexible venue, as they will allow you to make your event truly unique. There are 8 main rooms to choose from, with capacities ranging from 30 for dining in The Boudoir, to 250 for a standing reception or seated dinner in the Ballroom for 150.

Hedsor House has some general furniture within the house as well as banqueting furniture for up to 150 which is included in the hire price. Hedsor House can recommend suppliers for additional furniture if required.

Smoking is strictly not allowed in the house itself.

If your event includes dancing you are required to put down a dance floor. Hedsor House can recommend one of its production partners to supply this.

We do allow candles on site; however the flame must be contained within a tall holder i.e. a lantern or hurricane glass. We also allow candelabras on the dining tables. However these must be sturdy holders and non-drip candles. We do not allow incense or oil burners inside the house.

We do not allow water-based smoke/haze machines in the house as they set off our alarms.

+ Food & Beverages

Hedsor House does not have in-house catering facilities but does have 26 approved caterers that can cater for all needs. Unfortunately we do not allow external caterers who are not on this list at our venue.

You are required to buy wine, Champagne and bottled water from the Hedsor House wine list. If you need further information on wine and Champagne please call us on 01628 819050. The wine order will be taken from you 4 weeks before your event. Any full, un-opened cases of wine can be taken back and refunded by Hedsor House after your event. Any additional beverages, i.e. beer, spirits and soft drinks you are able to bring in yourself or arrange with your caterer.

You are required to order still and sparkling water from Hedsor House at the cost of £2 per person.

+ In The Grounds

Hedsor House has 100 car parking spaces as well as an overflow car park if needed. We contract that cars are not allowed to be left overnight; if there is an event the following day then all cars must be removed by 10.00am. If there is no event the following day then we are more flexible; please ask a member of the team.

Smoking is not allowed in the house itself, but is allowed in specific areas of the grounds. There are terracotta pots at the bottom of each set of steps for ashtrays.

You can have fireworks on the grounds at Hedsor House. You must use Pyromania Displays from our preferred supplier list as they are the only fireworks supplier we allow on our grounds. All firework displays must be set off by 22:00.

Due to the livestock we have within the grounds of Hedsor House, we do not allow any Chinese lanterns.

You can land a helicopter on the lawns. You must contact Heathrow Air Traffic Control for further details.

+ Guest Accommodation

Hedsor House provides perfect accommodation for you and up to twenty four of your party, with our Master Suite and ten guest bedrooms.

+ Charges and Payment

Hedsor House is an exclusive hire venue which allows you to create your perfect day on a bespoke basis. Please contact us to discuss hire charges as these vary according to days of the week & time of year. Off-peak times of the year and booking a package allow greater flexibility on prices to suit those on a budget at various time throughout the year.
