Around the World in 100 Acres
When Land Rover Experience launched their bespoke self-drive experiences with travel company Abercrombie and Kent, they wanted to get ‘off the beaten track’ without travelling too far from London. That’s where Hedsor House came in.
A stone’s throw from London and yet a whole world away, the house and grounds were used extensively for a press launch to create an unforgettable adventure around the world – all without leaving the English countryside.
The whole event was themed by XYZ Events, an experiential agency, who focused on the countries where the new Land Rover Experiences were offered: India, Africa and the UK. So, upon arrival at the house, guests were welcomed into the Centre Hall with its beautiful domed ceiling which had been decorated with an Indian theme.
A short press presentation was delivered in the Drawing Room, before a traditional British afternoon tea in the Boudoir. After a ride on Hedsor’s 4x4 course, to test out the Land Rover Experience, the day came to a close on the lawn terrace with sundowners.
The area had been dressed in the African theme with safari tents, soft lantern lighting and a themed menu from preferred caterers Rhubarb.
Why Hedsor House?
Hedsor House provided a true blank canvas that allowed the teams to achieve their objectives: a fun, themed event that represented the countries on their roster, as well as having the space and technology required for press presentations.
The 4x4 off-road course also provided a great opportunity to show what the Land Rovers can do!
